I think I’m getting somewhere

The programme I needed finally downloaded, only it’s a horrible programme to work with.

It won’t let me draw anything onto the stage, I did manage to get something on there only they were all on top of each other (i.e. the cube, the cylinder) and there doesn’t seem to be a mouse pointer that will allow me to select the object.
So I thought I’ll start a new project, I hadn’t done any work so I wasn’t going to loose anything, but this time I couldn’t get anything onto the stage I’ll click on the create object and nothing would happen.

I then find out that the file I need to download will open in Cinema 4D which I have, I opened that on the other computer to get the feel for it and this won’t open the material panel or whatever it’s called.
When I try to draw a glass it won’t let me put some of the points because it’ll be on one of the three axis (x, y, z) which in my opinion is pretty stupid.
Going to have to wait for Ollie to come on-line and give me a crash course in it :S (now I need to find some free models in lwo format so I can see if I loose any textures or not (as I know you do if you try and open it in 3D Studio Max)

And to top it off I’m ill! :(
